The quick change-over system for line trays

All bakeries operating fully-automatic lines such as Mecatherm line, know the problem. The trays have to be re-coated and refurbished regularly. The costs are significant. And a corresponding number of spare trays is required so that the line can be operated during the time of refurbishment.

It was our target to considerably reduce the cost for re-coating and to make the requirement for spare trays irrelevant. We have applied for EU and US patents for the revolutionary system that arose from this objective target.

We asked some basic questions:

• Why is it necessary to return the trays to the manufacturer in some cases over a long distance?
• Why do I have to do without my trays for several weeks?
• Why do I have to invest in expensive spare trays in order to operate the line during the refurbishment?

The result of these considerations was a simple and easy-to-handle exchange system. With Quick ’n Easy the trays are exchanged on site directly on the line within approx. 4 min. per tray.

The removed trays are no longer returned and re-coated, but are disposed of at your local scrap dealer. This is much more inexpensive than the usual refurbishment.
